• Previous experience working in operational risk, internal/external audit or an assurance role, ideally within the banking or financial services industry
• Understanding and experience of risk management, including operational risk activities, controls testing, risk assessment methodologies and risk advisory
• Proficiency in the use of risk management platforms for risk event/incident management, controls testing and risk profiles
• Ability to constructively challenge, consult and advise, whilst maintaining excellent relationships across a broad range of stakeholders.
• Advocate for our customers and their experiences by providing and acting on feedback on what is and is not working
• Understanding of banking and legislative requirements, including CPS 230
