Job Description The Risk Manager plays a key role in delivering risk management services across capital projects within a consulting environment. The role holder supports the identification, assessment, and management of project risks, working closely with project teams and client stakeholders to ensure risks are proactively managed throughout the project lifecycle. The role focuses on hands-on delivery of risk management activities, including facilitation, analysis, and reporting, while supporting the implementation of established risk management frameworks and best practices. Principal Accountabilities Support the development and implementation of project-level risk management processes aligned with client requirements and industry best practice. Identify, assess, and manage project risks, including financial, operational, and schedule-related risks. Facilitate risk identification workshops and risk review sessions with internal and external stakeholders. Develop and maintain comprehensive risk registers and RAID logs, ensuring risks are accurately documented, scored, and tracked. Conduct qualitative and quantitative risk analysis and support interpretation of results. Collaborate with project controls, cost, and planning teams to ensure risk outputs are effectively integrated into project reporting. Monitor and report on risk status, emerging risks, and mitigation actions, providing clear and actionable insights to clients and project teams. Support the implementation of risk mitigation strategies and contingency planning. Ensure risk data is accurate, up to date, and reflective of current project conditions. Provide practical risk management advice and guidance to project teams and stakeholders. Qualifications Minimum 5 years’ experience delivering risk management or project controls activities within complex capital projects. Proven experience supporting risk management delivery in a consulting or client-facing environment. Strong experience in risk modelling. Hands-on experience using risk tools. Experience working closely with multidisciplinary project teams, including cost, planning, and delivery functions. Additional Information Our inspired people share our vision and mission.
