We’re now looking for a Risk Manager Credit & AML to join our Analytics function, reporting to our Chief Analytics Officer (CAO). This is a senior, hands-on role combining deep operational work with team leadership and ownership of critical risk processes. The role In this role, you will lead a small but highly important team responsible for critical processes. Your focus will be split primarily between AML (anti-money laundering) and credit risk, with a strong emphasis on hands-on work for daily improvements. You will be responsible for setting standards, making complex decisions, and continuously improving how we work — ensuring that Anyfin meets regulatory requirements while also becoming more efficient and scalable. What you’ll do AML & Financial Crime Lead and actively participate in investigations of: Transaction monitoring alerts Sanctions and PEP hits Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) cases Set standards and processes for AML investigations and escalation handling Provide recommendations on reporting to the FIU Own and continuously update AML-related routines, instructions, and processes Ensure that Anyfin’s Business-Wide Risk Assessment (BWRA) is kept up to date and aligned with current risks Take an active role in preparing the organisation for upcoming EU-level AML regulation, with a focus on meeting requirements efficiently and correctly Credit Risk Make complex and escalated manual underwriting decisions, with mandate to take all types of credit decisions Define and improve credit routines and decision frameworks Provide guidance and support to operational teams on credit-related matters Leadership & collaboration Lead, coach, and mentor your team, supporting both professional development and day-to-day execution Set structure, priorities, and clear ways of working for the team Collaborate closely with Analytics, Operations, Product, and Legal/Compliance Who you are You are someone who enjoys working close to real cases and real decisions. You are comfortable taking responsibility in regulated environments and see regulation not just as a requirement, but as a problem to solve well. You are curious about upcoming AML regulation and genuinely motivated to figure out how a company can meet regulatory expectations while increasing efficiency and compliance. You combine sound judgment with a pragmatic mindset, and you enjoy helping others grow through guidance and mentoring. What you bring Solid experience working with AML within a financial institution Strong understanding of how AML frameworks and governance are structured and how the Business Wide Risk Assessment fits into the day to day activities. Experience working with credit risk, preferably within private consumer lending Experience leading work and mentoring others Strong written and spoken English Ability to work hands-on while also setting structure and standards Nice to have Formal people management experience Experience working with fraud investigations Familiarity with data, SQL, or analytics tooling Why Anyfin?
