ABOUT US

Shaping an emission-free energy and mobility future - that is the goal of The Mobility House. To achieve this, we combine the automotive and energy sectors with our technology. We integrate vehicle batteries into the power grid using intelligent charging and energy solutions. The whole thing started 15 years ago with a simple idea from our founder Thomas Raffeiner: What if idle electric cars could be used as mobile storage units? And make their potential available to the energy industry with its growing storage requirements? The idea for The Mobility House was born.
With over 350 employees, we are active worldwide from our locations in Munich, Zurich, Belmont, CA (USA), Paris and Singapore. We are always on the lookout for new faces who share our enthusiasm for our vision.
Do you want to be part of the future with us? Then we look forward to receiving your application.

Responsibilities
  • You understand the nature of conventional linear products in the energy sector (e.g. forward base) and basics of a financial option. You can evaluate the worth of standard options (put, call, …) and combinations of them (e.g. collar).
  • Based on that
  • You identify, evaluate and report risks which result from trading activities of flexible assets in different European electricity markets.
  • You monitor, assess and track market risks such as price, volume, and volatility risks using VaR, PaR, stress tests, and scenario analysis.
  • You develop and maintain risk models for trading portfolios and structured products (e.g. tolling).
  • You develop, improve and implement our simulation and backtesting models to quantitively assess revenue potential of flexible assets (i.e. batteries and EV fleets) in different energy markets.
  • You test and validate new strategies and derive recommendations for senior management
