Primary Responsibilities Risk identification, assessment, evaluation and prioritization – assist Partners and regional functions in reviewing opportunities for conformance with ERM commitments and expectations regarding operational and enterprise risk. Assist in providing decision-useful risk insights to support internal operations and enable pursuit of desired commercial opportunities. Risk monitoring and reporting Provide second-line surveillance of the status of identified risks at the regional level, with attention to new, changing, or emerging risks Regularly monitor the effectiveness of risk management commitments and controls Report regularly on regional risk performance and escalate issues as needed Coordination and collaboration Work closely with the Regional Risk Directors, local leadership teams and other functions as needed to promote an integrated approach to risk management Represent the region at Global Risk Management functions Regulatory and technical knowledge Maintain current knowledge of external and internal risks with potential to affect our strategy, operations, people, clients, assets or the environment Demonstrate commitment to technical knowledge development through self-study, attendance at relevant risk events and/or courses or other means Share knowledge internally as appropriate to manage identified risks Qualifications At least 5-7 years of experience in risk management or a related field, such as finance or business with consulting or industrial operational background. Experience across risk anticipation, identification, management, and control in a diverse, fast-paced environment. Ability to conduct or lead risk assessments, develop mitigation approaches, analyze and report on risk performance, and monitor risk controls and commitments Analytics Ability to analyze complex data and identify trends and patterns Proficiency in risk assessment methodologies and tools Problem-solving Ability to think critically and make decisions under pressure Ability to develop innovative solutions to mitigate risks Communication Excellent verbal and written communication to convey risk-related information clearly to a variety of stakeholders across multiple levels Ability to present complex information in an understandable manner to non-experts Platform skills for effective training Cultural sensitivity to adapt risk programs so they resonate with regional needs Attention to detail Keen eye for detail to identify potential risks and ensure compliance with regulations Thoroughness in documenting risk management processes and outcomes Project management Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively Interpersonal Ability to build and maintain relationships with a range of stakeholders Leadership Willingness to challenge status quo when appropriate Ability to lead and mentor junior risk management staff Influence and negotiation skills to advocate for risk management At ERM, sustainability is our business.
