What the role will entail Conduct independent reviews of credit proposals, renewals, restructurings, and amendments, ensuring alignment with the Bank's credit policies, underwriting standards, approval authorities, and regulatory requirements. Monitor assigned credit portfolios against risk appetite, limits, and early warning indicators, identifying emerging risks, adverse trends, and concentration exposures. Prepare credit risk assessments, reports, dashboards, and committee presentations, and ensure the timely escalation of material risk concerns and limit breaches. Partner with business units by providing balanced and well-supported risk perspectives, while participating in credit committees, portfolio reviews, and decision-making forums. Support the development and enhancement of credit risk policies, underwriting standards, frameworks, processes, tools, and methodologies to strengthen risk management practices. Promote strong credit governance through effective documentation, internal controls, regulatory compliance, and the timely resolution of audit and regulatory findings. Provide coaching and technical guidance to junior credit officers and contribute to the consistent application of credit risk standards across the organization. What we're looking for Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Management, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field; a Master's degree is highly preferred. At least 3 - 5 years of relevant credit risk or credit analysis experience for the Manager level, or 5 - 8 years of progressive credit risk experience, including complex credit exposures, for the Senior Manager level. Strong knowledge of credit analysis, financial statement analysis, risk rating methodologies, credit structures, portfolio risk management, and limit monitoring. Familiarity with banking regulations, credit policies, governance frameworks, and the interpretation of regulatory and internal risk requirements. Demonstrated sound judgment, independent thinking, effective challenge and stakeholder management skills, with strong communication abilities and attention to detail.
