Key Responsibilities * Overseeing and producing daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly risk reporting, presentations, and executive dashboards. * Ensure timely regulatory reporting and disclosures, liaison with auditors and compliance. * Drive automation and process improvement initiatives (AI, VBA, SQL, Python/R); Experience and Qualifications * 10+ years in risk operations/market risk/credit risk; 3-5 years managing teams * Degree in finance, Computer Science, Math, or related (Master's/FRM/CFA preferred); * Advanced Excel/VBA, SQL, RDBMS; experience with Python/R, SharePoint, Power Automate, and AI tools such as Claude or Microsoft Copilot * Technically proficient in Equity and Liquidity Risk; VaR, stress testing, scenario analysis. * Excellent communication; translate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences. * Fluent Japanese and English speaker (English will be the primary business language) Jefferies is a leading global, full-service investment banking and capital markets firm that provides advisory, sales and trading, research, and wealth and asset management services.
