NGĀ PŪKENGA KEI A KOE / SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• 3+ years in operational risk, internal audit or compliance within professional or financial services.
• Solid understanding of risk frameworks, controls and business processes.
• Strong project management and stakeholder skills.

Clear communicator with a proactive, “no surprises” approach.

• Comfortable with Microsoft tools and GenAI (e.g., ChatGPT); professional services R&Q experience is a plus.

Join our Tax & Legal Services Risk & Quality (R&Q) team. You’ll keep our risk practices current, practical and easy to use - so our people deliver quality work that meets PwC network and industry standards. You’ll be the go-to for clear advice, simple processes and continuous improvement, supported by experienced leaders.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Keeping our risk policies current and easy to apply, aligned to PwC network standards.

Coordinating quality reviews of engagements and partner portfolios, and tracking improvements.

• Advising teams on risk questions (incl. exceptions to standard terms) and creating user-friendly templates.
• Leading R&Q training and our monthly champions forum; building strong relationships across NZ and the global network.
• Testing how our quality system is working, supporting annual reporting and remediation, and piloting GenAI to streamline compliance.
