Job Description The intern in the Risk & Quant Managed Services team at FactSet will have the opportunity to spend time at the forefront of financial technology services. The candidate may expect to gain deeper understanding of financial modelling, market risk management and asset allocation techniques. More importantly, the intern will get the chance to see how financial theory leverages the latest in technology to deliver solutions at scale to some of the largest asset managers in the world. Key Responsibilities and Tasks: Acquire working knowledge of FactSet products, services and internal processes. Build knowledge of financial markets, quantitative methods, and technology applications to enhance service delivery. Gain the soft skills needed to work with clients in a fast-paced environment. Assist the team of consultants in their day-to-day tasks as needed. Collaborate with stakeholders across FactSet towards resolving client issues and improving the products and services offered. What You’ll Gain: Practical understanding of risk management and asset allocation workflows, tools and techniques. Exposure to real client use cases and service management principles. Mentorship and guidance from experienced specialists. Development of soft skills including communication, prioritization, and stakeholder interaction. Potential opportunity for a full-time role after graduation based on performance. Required Skills and Traits: University students in their 3rd year or above, or recent graduates in Finance, Economics, or a related field. Strong interest in financial markets and financial instruments. Analytical mindset and ability to work with complex data. Curiosity about technology and willingness to learn. Solid communication skills in English (written and verbal). Working-level knowledge of Excel & MS Office; interest in Python is a plus Proactive attitude and eagerness to learn from professionals.
