Description
Risk Specialist At Anyfin, we’re on a mission to improve financial health and to do that, we need to stay one step ahead. Of bad actors. Of broken systems. Of risks that slow us down. That’s where you come in. We’re looking for a Risk Specialist who wants to work broadly across AML, fraud, credit, and operations and who gets a bit of energy from digging into what doesn’t look right. Not a narrow specialist. Not a passive observer. Someone who’s curious, sharp, and enjoys figuring things out. What you’ll do This is a hands-on role right at the core of our business. One day you’re deep in an investigation, the next you’re improving how we operate or how our products are built. You will: Work with AML, fraud, and credit processes across the customer lifecycle Investigate transactions, follow the money, and handle escalations Stay close to operations – this is not a job where you sit in the background Contribute to reporting, including towards authorities and regulators Identify patterns, risks, and things that don’t quite add up Help improve systems, processes, and ways of working together with Product and Engineering Support risk assessments and make sure we stay on top of our exposures as we scale Who you are You’re probably a few years into your career and ready for something broader. You like structure but you’re also comfortable when things aren’t fully defined yet. You take ownership, move things forward, and don’t wait to be told exactly what to do. You might: Have 2–5 years of experience in risk, compliance, operations, or similar Have worked with AML, fraud, or credit processes (onboarding, monitoring, investigations, etc.) Have a university degree in e.g. finance, economics, law, or a related field Have some experience with reporting, ideally towards authorities Be used to operational work and not afraid to get into the details Enjoy working across teams and have collaborated with product or tech Like solving problems and following things through from start to finish Be comfortable working with data (or curious to get better at it) But more importantly, you’re curious, structured, and motivated to learn. And you’re the kind of person who notices when something’s off and can’t really let it go. Why this role At Anyfin, risk isn’t something that sits on the sidelines reviewing decisions after the fact. It’s part of how we build, how we grow, and how we stay ahead. This isn’t a role where you’ll be boxed into one area or stuck doing the same thing every day. You’ll move across the business, close to both operations and product, working on real problems that actually matter. In this role, you’ll get to: Work across AML, fraud, credit, and operational risk – not just one piece of the puzzle Be in the middle of things, not on the outside looking in Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering and influence how we build, not just how we control Combine analytical thinking with real-world action – from investigations to improvements Take ownership early and run things end-to-end, not just support someone else doing it If you’re looking for a role where you learn fast, get real responsibility, and actually make an impact, this is it. Working at Anyfin We’re a fintech company growing fast across Europe, with a clear mission and a strong belief in doing things better. The way we work is straightforward: high ambition, low ego, and a focus on actually getting things done.
Responsibilities
You will manage AML, fraud, and credit processes across the customer lifecycle while investigating transactions and handling escalations. Additionally, you will collaborate with product and engineering teams to improve systems, processes, and regulatory reporting.
