As a Risk Underwriter, you will play a crucial role in assessing and managing risks associated with insurance policies, particularly in the credit insurance sector. You will be responsible for evaluating financial information, making informed underwriting decisions, and contributing to the overall risk management strategy of our organisation. Your role will be : - Carry out the underwriting and participate in risk management: · Commit Coface by setting credit limits within the scope of your delegations, · Monitor commitments, · Manage the evolution of ‘sensitive’ risks · Develop and share your sector expertise - Contribute to the quality of commercial relations with clients and brokers: · Explain and justify underwriting decisions, · Arrange meetings with clients, brokers and prospects on or off the premises, · Establish yourself as a decision-maker with your contacts, · Contributes to and ensures the quality of the team's prospect studies and client meetings, Qualifications SKILLS Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Economics Minimum of 2 years' experience in the banking and financial services sector, preferably in trade credit insurance Strong financial literacy with the ability to interpret complex financial statements Solid background in risk monitoring, industry analysis, and underwriting principles Native-level fluency in Dutch, fluent in English. French language skills are a plus. Confidence in presenting complex information to diverse audiences In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements in the insurance industry Strong customer focus with a track record of putting policyholders at the centre of decision-making QUALITIES Organised and autonomous, he/she effectively reports on the tasks entrusted to him/her Communicates with his/her superiors and team, Excellent interpersonal skills, he/she is comfortable speaking in front of an audience.
