Overview HOUSTON, TX(LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY) – A warm and welcoming family in River Oaks is seeking a kind, patient, and flexible FULL-TIME NANNY to care for their vibrant household of five children, including a 1-year-old baby boy and four girls, ages 14, 13, 11, and 8. Their oldest daughter has Angelman syndrome and will require a bit more attention and support, while the other girls are independent, well-behaved, and enjoy their structured daily routine of schoolwork and extracurriculars. The ideal candidate will be caring and calm, with the ability to step in where needed while respecting the family’s space and rhythms. The main care and focus of this role is working with and supervising the oldest daughter and the youngest son. This position guarantees 40 hours per week, with a general Monday through Friday schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Occasional flexibility for weekends, date nights, or travel is requested and appreciated. The family is hoping to find someone who can help with basic household duties such as children’s laundry, tidying up after meals, running errands, and school pickups. Driving is required, and mileage will be reimbursed. There is one indoor dog in the home. The primary care is for the 5-month-old and ensuring the 14-year-old has adult supervision. Mom is a SAHM and very hands-on. This role is to support her with care to afford her independence as needed during the day. The family is offering $25+/hour gross via payroll, with benefits PTO + Sick days to be discussed. There is no vaccination requirement, and candidates should feel comfortable in a relaxed household. Ideal candidates will be nurturing, self-directed, and easygoing, with a willingness to support the family in both daily routines and occasional travel, both domestic and international. The position begins as soon as possible.
