CLINICAL SKILLS:

  • Technical Proficiency:
  • Perform clinical procedures such as wound care, catheterization, and IV insertion.
  • Operate and maintain medical equipment safely.
  • Respond to medical emergencies and implement life-saving procedures as necessary.
  • Documentation:
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
  • Ensure confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Education and Support:
  • Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention.
  • Provide emotional support and counseling when needed.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) qualification with valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
  • Experience in a hospital setting, preferably in a similar role within a private healthcare environment.
  • Advanced life support (ALS) or Basic life support (BLS) certification.

Key Responsibilities:Patient Care:

  • Assessment and Planning:
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ health conditions.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
  • Ensure all care plans are updated regularly and in response to changes in patients’ conditions.
  • Direct Patient Care:
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Monitor and document patients’ vital signs and overall condition.
  • Provide pre- and post-operative care.
  • Assist with daily living activities as needed.
  • Communication and Coordination:
  • Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Coordinate patient care with doctors, physiotherapists, and other specialists.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss and plan patient care.
