Based at Te Toka Tumai Auckland Hospital

NGĀ PŪKENGA ME NGĀ WHEAKO | SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

We’re looking for a practical and people-focused leader with a strong operational mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement. You will bring:

  • Proven experience in team leadership and operations management, ideally in a hospital or healthcare setting
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across services
  • A proactive and solutions-focused approach to problem solving in complex and time-pressured environments
  • Confidence in interpreting and applying workforce processes and collective agreements (e.g. SECA)
  • Experience in project or change management, service improvement, or training delivery is desirable
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in health, business, operations or a related field. Extensive / comparable experience may be considered in lieu of qualifications
  • A commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and improving equity and outcomes for Māori and Pacific peoples
