We’re currently growing our team of Artisans with an RMS Director Business Operations to be located at our Support Center in Spring, TX. The RMS Director Business Operations plays a critical role in scaling our business by designing, integrating, and optimizing the systems, processes, and support functions that enable RTI’s Refined Mechanical Specialists business line to grow predictably and sustainably. This role ensures cross-functional support operates in a unified, efficient, and high-trust manner to enable our field teams and business operations. Duties & Responsibilities Design, implement, and scale operational processes that support RTI’s rapid growth. Integrate cross-functional support teams (HR, IT, Finance, Safety, Supply Chain) to ensure seamless service delivery to the business. Partner with business leaders to identify process gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities. Develop and maintain standardized processes, workflows, and documentation for enterprise operations. Lead cross-functional initiatives that enhance operational excellence, reduce risk, and streamline execution. Serve as the primary point of coordination for RMS systems and processes across the organization. Facilitate change management for new systems, tools, or processes introduced into the business. Measure effectiveness of operational processes and implement continuous improvement strategies. Ensure alignment between business needs and support function capabilities. Drive adoption of RTI standards across safety, HR, IT, and financial controls. Requirements Minimum Qualifications 7+ years of experience in operations, business integration, or organizational effectiveness roles. Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field. Additional or Preferred Qualifications MBA preferred. Strong ability to design and scale processes in a growing, entrepreneurial environment. Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional initiatives. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Experience with process mapping, system implementation, or operational risk mitigation. Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive execution. Working Conditions / Physical Demands Work is executed both in an office setting and in industrial sites. This job may require in-plant meetings and also walk-arounds in the refinery / plant setting.
