SUMMARY

Are you a passionate Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) with a drive to educate and inspire? Career City College is seeking a dedicated RMT Instructor & Curriculum Expert to join our Kelowna campus. This role combines teaching, mentoring, and curriculum development to ensure our students receive top-tier education and practical training.
Role Overview:

As an RMT Instructor & Curriculum Expert, you will deliver engaging classroom instruction, supervise hands-on clinical training, and contribute to the development and refinement of our massage therapy curriculum. You will guide students in mastering techniques such as:

  • Swedish Massage
  • Deep Tissue Massage
  • Sports Massage
  • Lymphatic Massage
  • Prenatal Massage

In addition, you will collaborate with faculty to design and update course materials, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements set by the CCHPBC. Your expertise will shape a comprehensive and innovative program that prepares students for successful careers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) in good standing with the CMTBC.
  • CCHPBC registration.
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on clinical experience as a practicing RMT.
  • Experience in teaching, mentoring, or curriculum development (preferred, but not required).
  • In-depth knowledge of massage therapy techniques, anatomy, physiology, and clinical applications.
