Department Overview These positions are part of the new Vista Pavilion, which is slated to open in April 2026. Current unit 13KPV Adult Oncology will be transitioning to VPV Surgical Oncology. Our primary teams are Surgical Oncology, General Surgery, Gynecology Oncology, and Radiation Oncology. The new unit will have 60+ beds to expand our exceptional care for our patients. Current unit 14K Adult Bone Marrow Transplant will be transitioning to VPV Medical Oncology. Our primary teams are Medical Oncology/Cellular Therapy: Stem cell Transplant, Immune cell therapy including CAR-T and TIL, Gene Therapy, Chemotherapy, GVHD, pain crisis, failure to thrive, end of life. The new unit will have 60+ beds to expand our exceptional care for our patients. Surgical Oncology - 5 positions available Medical Oncology - 10 positions available Internal Employees: Per the ONA Contract 19.8 Effective date of transfer will be discussed and agreed upon at the time of the interview. Function/Duties of Position The OHSU Clinical registered nurse (RN) provides compassionate, evidence-based, and efficient care to individuals, families, communities and patient populations. The Clinical RN's care delivery is consistent with the Oregon Nurse Practice Act, the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice, and the ANA Code of Ethics. The Clinical RN demonstrates the professional role obligations of scientist, leader, and knowledge transferor [Onsomble Model of the Professional Role™]. Required Qualifications Associate or Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing from a program accredited by the Commission of Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (CNEA) by 30 days before the start date Associate Degree Nurses required to enroll in BSN program within 3 years of hire and complete within 5 years of hire Current unencumbered Oregon RN license BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) by the start date - must not expire during orientation Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without accommodation Preferred Qualifications 1 year RN experience in Oncology, Bone Marrow Transplant, or Adult Med/Surg Additional Details Length of Orientation New Graduate Nurse: New to profession or with
