Find a fulfilling career and make a difference with UnityPoint Health. Responsibilities Provides comprehensive pre-op and post-op care for patient of all ages undergoing surgical procedures. Prepares patients for surgery, conducts assessments, and provides necessary education. Collaborate with the surgical team and other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth transitions in patient care from pre-op to post-op and discharge, coordinating follow-up appointments and any necessary home care services. Qualifications Experience: Surgical services experience preffered Education: Diploma from an RN program. License(s)/Certification(s): Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in primary state. Must apply within 90 days for licensure in secondary state. Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Must possess and maintain ACLS *Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, skills, internal equity, and other business needs.
