Summary RN Trillium Center Part-Time, -PRN-FTE First Shift BHCOR-Cor Trillium Center I Corbin, KY The Detox Recovery Unit is a 15-bed acute medical detox unit for patients with a primary Chemical Dependency diagnosis. The Detox Recovery Unit program specializes in adult detoxification and treatment for ages 18 and above. Performs care requiring substantial specialized knowledge, judgement and nursing skills based upon the principles of psychological, biological, physical, and social sciences in the application of the nursing process. Utilizes high-level assessment skills to design and ensure multidisciplinary patient care to meet holistic needs, incorporating established practice guidelines and regulatory standards. Must possess ability to supervise LPNs, CNAs, MHTs, Unit Secretaries, and Clinical students. All employees will continually monitor and adhere to safety responsibilities and initiatives. Job Description: RN Trillium Center Complete and document initial and ongoing patient assessments. Document changes in patient condition and critical events. Participate in rounding and handoff reports. Develop, implement, and update individualized plans of care each shift. Establish measurable patient goals and evaluate responses to interventions. Provide patient and family education tailored to individual needs. Initiate and participate in discharge planning using hospital and community resources. Communicate patient status clearly with physicians, peers, and supervisors. Document care accurately according to policies and procedures. Demonstrate knowledge of quality improvement practices to improve patient outcomes. Provide care in accordance with hospital policies, procedures, and physician orders. Perform nursing procedures safely and respond appropriately to emergencies. Delegate tasks appropriately and demonstrate sound clinical judgment. Use SBAR and ARCC communication to promote patient safety. Organize workload effectively and prioritize patient care. Facilitate teamwork, patient flow, and staff collaboration. Act as a resource and role model for other staff members. Participate in staff orientation, training, and professional development. Maintain licensure, complete required education, and comply with all regulations. Attend required trainings and report safety or compliance concerns promptly. Requirements: Current RN licensure and work permit in Kentucky. Bachelor's or an associate degree in nursing from an accredited college/university. RN Patient PT Deteriorations Basic Life Support is required. New employees requiring CPR-Basic Life Support (BLS)-American Heart Association should receive (CPR) training within the first week of orientation.
