Schedule: Full-time Shift: Days Location: 7700 S BROADWAY, Littleton, 80122 The role you’ll contribute: The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing and supervising direct and indirect total nursing care responsibilities to identified age-specific groups. Utilizes the nursing process (assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating) in achieving the goals of the nursing department. This position actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. Provides direct patient care in specialized departments such as cardiac care, monitoring patients during procedures/exercises for the detection of cardiac and pulmonary abnormalities. Communicates with physicians about changes in the patient's clinical condition including laboratory tests, results of diagnostic studies, and symptomatology. Capable of responding quickly and accurately to changes in condition and response to treatment. Additionally, is able to perform general nursing duties in related departments with adequate supervision. Participates in performance improvement and Kaizen activities, underlining a commitment to continuous improvement in patient care. Assumes responsibility and accountability for facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the healthcare team and the patient/family to identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient. Promotes the optimal health, well-being, and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines, and relevant regulations. Demonstrates personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values. This role requires compliance with policies and procedures of the organization, performing other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
