Description The Registered Nurse prescribes nursing care, delegates nursing activities, and coordinates the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care to provide optimal quality care, consistent with the health care systems’ mission and nursing philosophy, objectives and standards. The Clinical Coordinator is responsible for performing and directing all clinical activity for daily operations of the physician practice, including scheduling and supervising all clinical staff and serving as the primary contact person for the doctor, Director of Operations and all outside vendors on issues concerning the office. Has full access to patient health information. Requirements Current Registered Nurse licensure in N.C. Certification in basic CPR. Successful completion of a competency-based orientation, which includes age and population specific skills for the areas of practice in which The RN will be working and addresses the growth and development needs for the patients to whom the RN will be providing nursing care. At least three years related medical office experience, including some supervisory experience. Working knowledge of Microsoft office software (Word, Excel, etc.) and all office equipment. Working knowledge of medical terminology, practice computer systems and software, and medical/legal issues relevant to the practice, Ability to make decisions independently and to resolve problems/conflicts in an effective manner. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to train/instruct other in essential medical office functions. Must possess full range of body motion to pass basic FIT test for position to include walking, kneeling, standing, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, reaching and sitting for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
