Key Responsibilities: Provide direct nursing care to critically ill neurological and neurosurgical patients. Monitor and interpret complex patient data, including neurological assessments. Operate specialized ICU equipment. Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, therapists, and other nurses. Administer medications, implement treatment plans, and provide patient/family education. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system. Licensure: Current New York State RN License. Current BLS Certification. Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent acute care hospital experience. At least 1 year of specific Neuro ICU experience. Experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center is strongly preferred. Technical Skills: Prior experience with EPIC Electronic Medical Records is preferred.
