Overview Registered NurseUnityPoint Health – Emergency Services, Marshalltown Shift: Full Time; Night Shift 645p-715a; Rotating Weekends & Holidays Eligible for a $10K Sign-On Bonus + Up to $10K Relocation Bonus (for eligible candidates) Marshalltown Hospital is seeking a compassionate and skilled RN to join our 16-bed Emergency Department, featuring 10 treatment rooms, 2 trauma rooms, a triage room, and 4 behavioral health observation rooms. As a Level IV Trauma Center, our team is trained to respond quickly to a wide range of emergencies. Responsibilities Provides patient-centered care by assessing needs, developing individualized care plans, and collaborating with patients, families, and the healthcare team Delivers high-quality nursing care using clinical expertise and the nursing process in a fast-paced environment Educates patients and families to support understanding, recovery, and continuity of care Utilizes critical thinking to make sound clinical decisions and respond to changing patient conditions Coordinates care and delegates appropriately to support a collaborative team approach Ensures accurate and timely documentation to support quality care and compliance Promotes a holistic approach to care, addressing physical, emotional, and social needs Maintains a strong focus on patient safety, quality outcomes, and infection prevention Engages in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices and enhance patient care Qualifications Education Associates Degree in Nursing Bachelors of Science in Nursing preferred License(s)/Certification(s) Current license in the state of Iowa or meets criteria established by Iowa Board of Nursing. One (1) year of hospital clinical experience or demonstrated clinical efficiency.
