About the Role: We are seeking a highly qualified RN-Employee Health Nurse to join our team at UAB Medical West. As an RN-Employee Health Nurse, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of our employees at Medical West. You will play a critical role in promoting a healthy work environment and preventing workplace injuries and illnesses. Your expertise in employee health and wellness will be essential in maintaining a productive and thriving workforce. Minimum Qualifications: * Active RN license in the state of Alabama * Must be a Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. * Minimum of 3 years of experience in employee health or related field * Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with CDC, APIC, ACIP and Joint Commission requirements for employee health is preferred. * Experience with Alabama Workers Compensation preferred. * Certification in occupational health nursing * Experience in a hospital or clinical setting Responsibilities: * Conduct pre-employment health screenings and assessments * Develop and implement employee health and wellness programs * Provide education and training on health and safety topics * Manage employee health records and maintain confidentiality * Collaborate with management and HR to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements Skills: As an RN-Employee Health Nurse, you will utilize your strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively educate and train employees on health and safety topics. Your knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations will be essential in ensuring compliance and promoting a safe work environment. Additionally, your ability to develop and implement employee health and wellness programs will be critical in maintaining a healthy and productive workforce. Your attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality will be essential in managing employee health records. 
Responsibilities
