Description
  We are seeking an experienced highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our detox team on the day shift (36 hours per week). This role is well suited for a nurse who excels in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment and can effectively manage frequent admissions, discharges, and shifting priorities throughout the day. Although this is not a formal leadership or charge nurse role, we are seeking an individual with strong clinical judgment, sound decision-making skills, and a collaborative approach who can serve as a trusted resource and positive influence for the team while delivering exceptional patient care. Our 16-bed acute/medical withdrawal management program in Snohomish County expands beyond nursing care to also ensure that patients have immediate access to assessment, counseling and treatment referral by discharge. Minimum Qualifications * Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and current licensure in Washington State as a Registered Nurse. * 1 year detox/withdrawal management experience desired; psychiatric experience a plus. * Ability to establish effective working relationships with other staff, patients and referral sources. * Maintains compassion and empathy as well as clear boundaries with patients under the influence of alcohol and other drugs. * Valid Washington State Driver’s License, acceptable driving record and be able to operate a company vehicle without restriction. Preferred Qualifications * Previous charge nurse or other informal leadership experience. * Strong organizational and critical thinking skills.  Applicants must successfully pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug test.
