Performs role of surgical assistant for a variety of surgical procedures under direct supervision of attending surgeon. Performs role of circulating nurse and/or scrub nurse when required. Assesses patient status, maintains a safe care environment, manages equipment use and delegates/directs care provided by Surgical Technologists and other support personnel. Education Bachelor's Degree Nursing Required Other Graduate of accredited school of Nursing; successful completion of additional educational preparation specific to the role of the RNFA including a supervised clinical component. Required Experience 3 years experience in a perioperative RN role (Required) Required General Experience demonstrating skills in intraoperative nursing behaviors - handling tissue, using instruments, providing exposure, providing hemostasis.
