Our Charge Nurses perform nursing functions that include passing medications, observing residents’ condition and communicating them to the Nurse Supervisor (RN), Director of Nursing or the physician as needed. The team works closely together to ensure regulatory compliance, nurturing a person-centered resident-directed culture, and promote individual and team learning. The Nurse is a teacher and role-model of professional nursing practices and resident advocate for quality clinical care. The Nurse provides each resident with routine daily nursing care and other desired services in accordance with their assessment, choices and plan of care. Qualifications Possess a valid RN license to practice nursing in the state of California. Possess current CPR certification. 0-2 year’s prior experience in skilled health facility or retirement facility preferred. Possess leadership qualities, supervisory skills, interpersonal relationship skills. Working knowledge of Title XXII and OBRA regulations. Commitment to person-centered resident-directed care is essential. Ability to maintain confidentiality in a variety of circumstances and make sound judgments. Ability to report to work on time and complete the assigned work shift.
