Job Summary Collaborates with interdisciplinary team in the delivery of patient care, utilizing the nursing process. Provides professional nursing care to patients, including conducting nursing assessments, assisting with exams and treatment, patient education, and maintenance of medical records. Come and be a part of this top notch, ANCC Magnet designated facility! • 30 bed General Medicine unit • Free Charge RN and 3 PCAs on each shift • Unit Secretary availability • 5:1 ratio on days and nights, Discharge RN available on day shift • 24/7 Hospitalists available • Vital signs will be scanned automatically. • Self schedule, only work every 3rd weekend • Self-draw unit, PCA/PCT assist • BSN enrollment preferred due to Magnet Status Job Description Minimum Qualifications Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing; Bachelors of Nursing preferred Licenses/Certifications: Current State of Texas license or temporary/compact license to practice professional nursing Certified in Basic Life Support Additional certifications may be required based on discipline and/or nursing unit requirements Experience / Knowledge / Skills: RN I
