Description
This is a Casual status also known as Per Diem RN position working 10-hr day shifts. Business hours are Monday-Friday from 7am-5:30pm. Located in La Jolla at the Anderson Medical Pavilion in the GI Lab. The training schedule is preferably full time status. Why join Scripps Health? Provides direct patient care to high acuity patients in a complex department within the scope of practice. Engages in complex clinical procedures and may provide clinical assessments to surgical patients in the hospital setting. Patient care includes compliance with patient assessments and care tasks, triaging, completion of clinical procedures, emergency protocols and medication administration. Works collaboratively with the other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care. Required Qualifications: Completion of accredited RN program Minimum 1 year RN experience Current CA RN License BLS & ACLS through the American Heart Association Preferred Qualifications: 1 year procedural RN experience Inpatient RN experience GI Lab experience ER, ICU, Procedural (IR, cath lab) PACU experience preferred BSN
