What your year will look like You'll have 2 six-month rotations across our four locations, giving you genuine exposure to high-acuity clinical environments that most nurses don't get exposure to until years into their careers. They are cardiothoracics, neurosurgery, plastic and reconstructive surgery, orthopaedics, haematology/oncology and colorectal surgery. You'll also have the opportunity to experience specialty areas including intensive care, recovery, peri-operative care, and cardiac/vascular. You won't be thrown in the deep end. Our clinical educators and experienced multidisciplinary team are with you at every step, building your confidence, sharpening your skills, and setting you up for a long, rewarding career. This program is open to candidates who have completed a Bachelor of Nursing Program or equivalent. You must be eligible to gain registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA (www.ahpra.com.au) and will be available to commence the program in February 2027.
