About the Role: Join The Goddard School of North Queen Anne as an RN Health Consultant, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and safety of our young learners. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a nurturing educational environment. We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as a health consultant on an as-needed basis. Responsibilities: Conduct health assessments and screenings for children enrolled in the program. Develop and implement health policies and procedures in accordance with state regulations. Provide guidance and support to staff on health-related issues and best practices. Communicate with parents regarding health concerns and promote wellness initiatives. Maintain accurate health records and documentation for all students. Coordinate with local health agencies and resources to enhance health programs. Participate in training staff on health and safety protocols. Monitor and manage medication administration and health emergencies. This is a flexible, part-time opportunity that can be done remotely with occasional site visits. Requirements: Current RN license in the state of Washington. Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in pediatric or school health. Strong knowledge of child health and development principles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with educators and families. Certification in CPR and First Aid. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Passion for promoting the health and well-being of children.
