Job Summary The Registered Nurse provides direct nursing care for individual clients and families. The Registered Nurse communicates with and on behalf of the client and coordinates client care with all health team members. The Registered Nurse organizes those aspects of nursing care for which s/he is accountable in a specified work period. Requirements Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in South Dakota BLS- required Following a formal orientation, proficiency in the assigned clinical area is expected within six months. Failure to comply with standards of nursing care of HRMC may result in consequences to continued employment. Cross training is required. Working Conditions Requires frequent walking, standing, sitting, bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, feeling, talking, hearing, and moderate exertion/ lifting of clients or equipment. Risk exposure to communicable or infectious disease. Subject to inside environmental conditions & atmospheric conditions Limited exposure to outside environmental & atmospheric conditions
Responsibilities
