Registered Nurse (RN) – Full Time Schedule: 72 hours per 2-week pay period | 12-hour Night shifts (1900-0730) Location: Scripps Green ICU (La Jolla/Torrey Pines) This position is eligible for New Hire and Relocation Incentives up to $7K . We are the only transplant hospital for the Scripps system, transplanting liver, kidney and pancreas. Our 24-bed mixed ICU poses a great challenge to make sure you keep yourself updated on best practices and different patient populations. We are a teaching facility with in-house Intensive Care Pulmonologist that manage our patients closely with nursing collaboration. Responsibilities include: - Providing direct patient care within the scope of your practice. - Patient care includes assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care, and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes. - With quality patient and family-centered care in mind, the RN takes primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team under their supervision. - Work collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care. Required Qualifications: Nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing One year of recent RN experience in an adult ICU California Registered Nurse License Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS Certification Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care including assessment, planning, and implementation of care plans within an ICU setting. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes and restore function.
