Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) Patient Population: Cardiac, Nephrology, Hepatology, & Neurology Patient Ratios: RN – 1: 3 or 1: 4 Clinical Support – 1: 14/16 Number of Beds: 32 beds Department Specifics: The unit is fast paced and is the largest single unit at All Saints. We are the designated cardiac and stroke acute care unit; offering exposure to a variety of different patient populations, disease processes, and IV drips (to include but not limited to heparin, Cardizem, and dobutamine). Flexible preferred shift-scheduling is available. Registered Nurse Requirements Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program 1 YEAR MED/SURG/TELE EXPERIENCE – REQUIRED 2 YEARS ICU/PCU EXPERIENCE - PREFERRED License/Certification RN – Registered Nurse BLS – Basic Life Support (required within 30 days of hire) Successful EKG completion (within 30 days of hire)
