As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the inpatient registered nurse provides skilled nursing services to patients in the Inpatient Facility. The registered professional nurse receives direction and supervision from the Inpatient clinical supervisor. Performs comprehensive assessment of patients on admission to the Fresno Inpatient Unit: History (patient and other sources) and subjective data. Objective observation. Formulation of plan of care, which is congruent with medical diagnosis. Collaboration with patient, family, team members, (physicians and patient care coordinator in prioritizing identified needs. Two (2) years' experience in acute care facility or community health agency (prefer one (1) year hospice experience). Current California RN Licensure and CPR Certification. Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (i.e., Push, Pull, Lift/Carry 50 lbs.)
