QUALIFICATIONS:

• Current registered member in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario

EXPERIENCE:

• BLS certification
• Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia’s Course preferred, or willing to obtain within three (3) months of hire
• Recent clinical experience (minimum two years) in medical/surgical/ CCC nursing preferred
• Recent related courses, in-services in medical/ surgical/ CCC nursing
• ACLS certification preferred, or willing to obtain within three (3) months of hire

ABILITIES:

• Specialized nursing skills in the area of medical/chronic nursing
• Ability to plan, organize and problem solve
• Excellent communication skills
• Working knowledge of Meditech Information System and personal computer applications
  Applicants may be eligible for Canada Student Loan Forgiveness and Tuition Support Program for Nurses programs
  Successful applicants who have not yet been employed as a nurse within Ontario will be eligible to receive a commitment bonus of $25,000 in exchange for a 2-year full-time commitment of service
