Description:
Bayshore is recruiting a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our care team in Central Newfoundland. The Registered Nurse/ Licensed Practical Nurse will ensure excellent client care while upholding the vision, mission and values of Bayshore.
Role Requirements:

This role requires you to have Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing (RN & LPN) and hold current registration with the provincial licensing body. The position also requires you to have a solid knowledge and experience of the principles, practices and methods of Pediatrics and community nursing.

  • Assists with client care as directed by the developed Care Plans.
  • Administers and records prescribed medication as per company policy and scope of practice.
  • Maintains the standards of accurate and complete documentation and reporting.

Qualifications:
Details of Client Care:
The care requirements include but are not limited to tracheostomy with assisted CPAP ventilation , feeding tube maintenance, and suctioning.
Nursing care is to be provided in the client’s home and in hospital when needed.
We require a nurse(s) 7 days a week 24hrs a day in Gander, Newfoundland

Requirements:

  • Days, Nights, Weekends, Holidays and On-Call requirements.
  • Valid Certificate of Conduct and Vulnerable Sector Check.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Applicable Medical Immunizations.
