MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS  Position Summary: Reporting to the Clinical Nurse Director, this position is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating and providing high quality, individualized patient care using the components of the nursing process. JOB QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Education: * Graduate of an accredited RN Program. Preferred Education: * N/A Minimum Work Experience and Qualifications: * Minimum one-year recent experience in an acute care setting. * Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Preferred Work Experience and Qualifications: * Medical Surgical experience preferred. Required Licensure, Certification, Registration or Designation: * Current Sate of California Registered Nurse (RN) License * Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) * Current Los Angeles County Fire Card (required within 30 days of hire) * Assault Response Competency (ARC) (required within 30 days of hire) Status: Full Time Shift: Nights Hours: 12hrs (6:45pm - 7:15am) Weekly/Bi-Weekly Hours: 36hrs/72hrs FTE: 0.9
