RN- Med/Surg Job Title: Registered Nurse – Med/Surg Location: Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center, 10701 East Blvd, Cleveland, OH 44106 Pay Rate: $79.00 per hour Contract Length: Base Year + 1 Option Year Job Summary: We are seeking qualified Med/Surg Registered Nurses to support the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. This role is part of a critical staffing initiative to maintain high-quality patient care during the VA’s transition to the new Federal Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. The RN will provide direct patient care in a fast-paced medical-surgical setting and work closely with the interdisciplinary team to support veteran care.  Responsibilities: * Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Med/Surg unit * Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care * Document care accurately and timely in accordance with VA standards * Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams Requirements: * Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program (ACEN or CCNE) * Current Ohio RN license or current multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact state * Current CPR certification through an American Heart Association vendor * Current BLS certification * Minimum 2 years of direct patient care experience within the last 3 years To apply, email your resume and credentials to: staffin@huckeyehealthcare.com [staffin@huckeyehealthcare.com] For questions, reach us at: (281)-769-8184
