Description
RN – Neurovascular, Medical Surgical Unit at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. This posting represents a .9 FTE, NIGHT shift opening (7pm-7:30am, varied days, 3, 12 hour shifts per week) with rotating weekends. We are an accredited comprehensive stroke center and epilepsy unit. This specialized unit cares for post-operative neurosurgery and EMU patients. Patients on this unit may have received a hyperacute intervention such as endovascular thrombectomy (EVT) or thrombolysis. Stroke patients generally stay in the hospital for approximately five to seven days. During their stay, the interprofessional stroke team works collaboratively to provide patient and family-centred and evidence-based stroke care. Extra Incentives: Night shift differential – $10.00 p/hr Weekend shift differential - $2.00 p/hr $6,000 hiring bonus offered for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment. Required Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited nursing program. Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire. National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
