JOB SUMMARY

As a new Operating Room Registered Nurse, you will start in a fast-paced, rewarding role. You will use our nursing model to coordinate patient care with a healthcare team. You will assess patients, identify responses to health issues, create care plans, and follow up. Tasks include evaluating patient responses to measure effectiveness.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Candidates need to graduate from an accredited program or have (2) two years of relevant professional experience.
  • The main area of study or interest should be in nursing.
  • Must be a licensed Registered Nurse.
  • BLS Certification or obtain within 30 days of employment.
  • CVOR experience
Responsibilities
  • Perform thorough assessments following standards. Identify patient and family needs. Develop and evaluate nursing care plans tailored to desired outcomes.
  • Regularly assess nursing practice quality. Use research and experiential learning to make evidence-based improvements for quality performance.
  • Create a safe and healing environment for patients, families, and staff. Build connections with patients and families to ease pain and promote healing.
  • Acknowledge and incorporate the unique attributes of patients and families into a tailored plan of care.
  • Protect patient and family rights. Address concerns, create personalized plans reflecting values and goals.
  • Help patients, families, nurses, and others learn. Assess learning needs and outcomes. Record key findings consistently.
  • Work with colleagues and the community in executing a coherent plan of care.
