Description Fairway View Neighborhoods Long Term Care seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work direct patient care in many capacities – observing, assessing, passing medications, and documenting information relating to the residents. Duties Include: Makes regular rounds observing resident condition, vital signs, assessing findings, planning resident nursing care, and recording pertinent information Accurate administration of medication and treatment as prescribed by physician. Assists physician during rounds in absence of Care Coordinator to facilitate communication. Instructs residents on their treatments and medication to promote resident understanding and continuity of care. Provides necessary support to LPN’s and CNA’s to ensure they are able to perform their work. Supervises the care by LPNs and CNAs to residents. Serves as a role model for other nursing personnel. Hours and Pay: Part Time, 48 hours per 2 week pay period, 6am - 2:30pm Full benefits package (medical, dental, vision, HSA with employer match) Retirement with employer match Education Assistance and Loan Forgiveness program Must be licensed (or eligible for licensure) in MN.
