Memorial Community Hospital & Health System (MCH) is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Minor Care Clinic team. This role plays a vital part in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and ensuring seamless coordination of services within our clinic. As a valued member of our healthcare team, you will collaborate closely with providers, fellow staff members, patients, and their families to support our mission of healing, nurturing, and promoting wellness in the community. Position Details: Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) Weekend Rotation: Typically, every 4th weekend What You’ll Do: Collaborate with nursing staff and medical providers to ensure coordinated and efficient patient care. Provide direct patient care including rooming patients, taking vitals, obtaining medical histories, reconciling medications, assisting with procedures, and administering medications and vaccinations. Perform lab draws and accurately document samples. Coordinate and follow up on tests, procedures, and specialty appointments as directed. Communicate patient assessments and findings to providers. Prepare exam rooms and necessary materials for patient visits. Ensure timely and accurate documentation of physician orders and interdepartmental communications. What We’re Looking For: Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Current RN or LPN license in Nebraska or Iowa. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 60 days of hire.
