This downtown Stuart hospital provides top-quality patient care to the communities in and around Martin County on the beautiful Indian River. With a dedicated Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) and Cardiovascular Progressive Care Unit (CVPCU), Martin North Hospital is considered the cardiac hub of Cleveland Clinic Martin Health. As an RN on this team, you will feel supported and appreciated for your expertise and have access to our advanced technology to make meaningful differences in the lives of patients and their families. In this position, you will be our Rapid Response/Code Expert. You will use your knowledge of codes and critical matters to support the hospital and act as an educator to other caregivers. While navigating the unit with a Critical Care mentality is essential, you will also have down time to interact and truly connect with fellow caregivers and the patients you encounter daily. A caregiver in this position works nights from 7:00PM – 7:30AM. A caregiver who excels in this role will: Provide direct nursing care. Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans. Monitor, record, document and communicate patients’ conditions. Administer prescribed medications and treatments. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs. Educate patients and their families. Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: Graduate from an accredited school of Professional Nursing Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) Two years of ED or ICU experience running codes and code medication Teaching and educating experience Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) Our caregivers continue to create the best outcomes for our patients across each of our facilities. Responsibilities

The RN will provide direct nursing care, implement and evaluate patient care plans, and act as a Rapid Response/Code Expert. They will also educate patients and their families while supporting other caregivers.
