We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at a our Nursing Home facility located in Dunedin Florida. As an RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents. Your expertise, clinical skills, and strong interpersonal abilities will be crucial in ensuring the well-being and comfort of our residents.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in nursing, preferably in a long-term care or nursing home setting.
Sound knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and procedures, with a focus on geriatric care.
Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills to evaluate and respond to residents’ health needs effectively.
Strong communication skills to interact with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members with empathy and professionalism.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt to a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and basic computer skills.

Provide comprehensive nursing care to residents based on their individual needs and care plans.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including electronic documentation, in adherence to facility policies and regulatory guidelines.
Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards to promote a clean and secure environment for residents and staff.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, staff training, and professional development activities to enhance your knowledge and skills.
Foster a positive and respectful atmosphere among the healthcare team, residents, and their families, promoting open communication and effective collaboration.
