WORK SCHEDULE Part time 2x10 shift schedule The RN will regularly work Thursdays and Fridays from 7:00am - 5:30pm Our clinic is closed on nights, weekends, and holidays DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION Our Men’s Health Center provides a private, supportive environment where health conditions are evaluated and treated. Our physicians provide urologic, hormonal, and reproductive health care, as well as referrals to other healthcare groups across the UW Medicine system. Common services at our clinic include: Screenings for testicular, bladder, and prostate cancer Infertility evaluation and testing Genitourinary reconstruction Treatment of chronic pain POSITION HIGHLIGHTS Work part time hours in a position offering work-life balance Great opportunity for RNs interested in working in male fertility and cryopreservation PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Provide discreet, professional care in an outpatient ambulatory setting Perform intake of cancer patients interested in cryopreservation Assist our providers during minimally invasive procedures Partner with providers during the pre-op and post-op process Perform general clinic functions, including phone triage, patient education, and case management REQUIREMENTS 6 months of recent ambulatory nursing experience or inpatient hospital nursing experience Previous experience performing minimally invasive procedures Active licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in Washington State Active BLS ABOUT UW MEDICAL CENTER-MONTLAKE UW Medical Center is an acute care academic medical center located in Seattle with two campuses: Montlake and Northwest.
