Description

Begin your career with a 1-year Post Baccalaureate Registered Nurse (RN) Residency Program requiring no holidays, no nights, no weekends, no mandatory overtime and 100% protected training time for the entire 12 months while you gain competency, confidence, and leadership skills as a new graduate RN.
This program is designed to provide new graduate nurses the foundation they need for a successful career and an opportunity to experience various clinical settings within the Veterans Health Administration prior to applying for their preferred RN role(s). Although we believe you will enjoy working with us at the Battle Creek VA Medical Center; our primary goal is to ensure our Veterans always have amazing care. Thus, we support transfers within the VA System and have no payback/contract requirements. The resident is expected to identify and apply for a permanent role within the national VA system toward the end of the 12-month residency year, for a seamless transition to a permanent role.
