This is a part time (32 hours every 2 weeks), non-benefited position generally working Thursdays and Fridays from 0800-1630. Hours will vary as needed. No weekends or call. May have the ability to pick up extra hours if that is of interest and hours are available. Ensure Scripps patients and their families have an exceptional health care experience. Provides direct patient care to high acuity patients in a complex department within the scope of practice. Engages in complex clinical procedures and may provide clinical assessments to post-surgical patients. Patient care includes compliance with patient assessments and care tasks, triaging, completion of clinical procedures, emergency protocols and medication administration. Works collaboratively with the other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care. Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills: Current California RN License BLS and ACLS from American Heart Association Graduate from an Accredited Nursing Program Preferred Experience: At least 1 year of experience as RN Prior experience in an outpatient clinic setting Cariology experience as an RN ICU experience Cath Lab experience
