This role provides specialized care to hematology and oncology patients, supporting them through diagnosis, treatment, and recovery in a supportive, patient-centered environment. Position Highlights Provide direct nursing care for oncology and hematology patients Administer chemotherapy, blood products, and supportive cancer treatments Monitor patient response, manage side effects, and provide pain control support Assess and maintain venous access devices (ports, PICC lines, midlines) Perform phlebotomy and IV access procedures Educate patients and families on treatment plans and available resources Support emotional and psychosocial needs of patients and families Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams Qualifications Current Nebraska Registered Nurse (RN) license Oncology certification required or must be obtained within required timeframe Oncology nursing experience preferred Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred Strong communication, clinical judgment, and compassionate care skills Commitment to patient safety, confidentiality, and teamwork Why Join Cherry County Hospital & Clinic?
