REGISTERED NURSE JOB TITLE: Registered Nurse (RN) DEPARTMENT: Home Health FULL TIME/PRN: Full Time JOB SUMMARY Provides nursing care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation; promotes restorative/supportive care; ensures safe medication administration and documentation. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • Current RN license by MS Board of Nursing; ability to read/write/communicate effectively. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS • CPR or ACLS certification. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Coordinate care and perform assessments. • Develop Plans of Care and educate patients/families. • Document accurately; report changes. • Maintain infection prevention; administer meds safely. • Participate in performance improvement. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS • Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods. • Frequent bending, reaching, squatting, and kneeling. • Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs independently; >50 lbs with assistance/devices. • Assist with patient repositioning and transfers using proper body mechanics and equipment. • Manual dexterity for clinical procedures and computer use; adequate vision, hearing, and speech.
